The prisoners of war clothing was very scarce after the dramatic bombing on a ship! The women wore tattered clothing most unfortunately ripped. The colours had faded dramatically on the dresses, most women had no bras. The prisoners shared clothes with each other and with the ripped up material created small pieces with string to create tops and pants for the children.
